Phenomenon
Discoloration in the topcoat.
Cause
A. Soluble dyes or pigments of undercoat are dissolved by the solvent of topcoat and rise to topcoat. (red or yellow)
B. Tar on the body rise to topcoat.
Repair
Remove the previous paint film or cover with acrylic primer-surfacer(PS-220) and refinish.
Prevention
Use the primer-surfacer(PS-220, PS-330, PS-550) before applying the new coating.
