Phenomenon
The paint film turns into yellow.
Cause
A. Using lacquer with nitrocotton(NC).
B. Using yellowing type hardener for urethane.
C. Long exposure to strong ultraviolet rays.
Repair
Clean with compound or refinish with non-yellowing type paint.
Prevention
Use non-yellowing type paint. Especially in case of metalic paint, clearcoat should be non-yellowing type. (TC-9300, TC-5800, Master Clear Plus, TC-2110, TC-410)
